We’re still not over the fact that history was made a couple of days ago, when Barack Obama was elected US president. The future first lady, Michelle Obama, also looked gorgeous in her ombre Narcisso Rodriguez dress. Now, we don’t know how she’s gonna decorate the White House, but we do know that she is one trendy first lady. She pulled off one of the fall’s hottest trends divinely:
A celebrity designer who is apparently crazy about the beauty of color gradations is Gwen Stefani. With her clothing label, L.A.M.B., Gwen delivered some of the hottest winter ombre items that are to die for. Our first favorite, the L.A.M.B. Oversized Cashmere Ombre Sweater.
And to complete the look, we have the L.A.M.B. Soft Signature Wiltshire Bag. Cuteness!
We tried to be philosophical about Michelle O’s fashion choice for the victory night, and pardon us if this sounds corny, but we really think the gradual gradation from black to red which meets in the middle part of the dress, really symbolizes diplomatic and political CHANGE.
Or it might just be Michelle’s undying love for American designers. Either one, she looked gorgeous. Look out for more of Michelle O, as she will be our style icon!
