The Cool Kids For GAP’S “Vote For___” Campaign
Rapper duo Antoine “Mikey Rocks” Reed and Evan “Chuck Inglish” Ingersoll a.k.a. The Cool Kids inhale their political side and exhale it through GAP’s “Vote For _____” Campaign. GAP launched this campaign that provides a platform for Americans to express their passions, opinions and ideas during one of the most important election seasons facing our nation. We like how The Cool Kids gets all political but steers away from the classic campaign-style and opens up Americans’ minds to vote for a million other things that might just be a simple but great idea. Celebrity lineup in the campaign also includes blogger extraordinaire, Perez Hilton.
As for the campaign itself, here’s an excerpt from GAP’s press release.
Centered on a customizable classic white t-shirt that simply says, “Vote For _______.”, GAP is encouraging Americans to fill in the blank with whatever word, expression or presidential cendidate they are passionate about. In addition to the “Vote For _______.” t-shirt, GAP is also providing other ways for Americans to engage with the initiative, from heartfelt and playful webisodes and Facebook Flair, to “Vote For” buttons and an original song called “Songs of Freedom” by musician Matt White. “Vote For ______.” t-shirts will be available for purchase on gap.com/votefor on October 15, and in stores nationwide beginning October 23 through Election Day on November 4, while supplies last.
