Freida Pinto dazzled at the Indian-themed Chanel Fashion Show
Freida Pinto is back in the world of fashion with her stylish ensembles. These days, she made sure no one will miss out her magnificent presence in the latest catwalk show of the famed label, Chanel. We are aware that the French fashion house took a chance on her when she was an unknown actress. That’s why we’re not surprised to see the pretty star come out to support the launching of the latest collection of Chanel in Paris.
Freida Pinto attended the ultra glamorous show held at the Grand Palais in Paris last night. The event was dubbed as “The Metiers D’Arts” show that showcased Chanel’s autumn designs with mixture of Indian- and Paris-inspired clothes. The style of the collection has an exciting mix of fabrics, rich brocades and saris with the house’s signature tweed jackets, black classic looks and pearls.
It seemed that the occasion is the perfect place for the 27-year-old actress to show off her striking style. She looked gorgeous in a shiny blue chiffon dress by Chanel. She teamed the bluish frock with Roger Vivier peep-toed shoe boots. To emphasize the shiny, fringe design of her dress, she applied minimal makeup and allowed her curly tresses to stream loose down her shoulders.
Miss Pinto recently shared her love of the French fashion brand. She enthused: “I tell you why I like Chanel so much; when I started off, no one wanted to give me clothes to wear. Absolutely no one. All the labels said, “Who is she?” She added: “Chanel believed in me from the very beginning. For the very first red carpet I did at the Toronto Film Festival in 2008, they dressed me up in their very current season collection. It’s a massive brand, why would they invest in someone who is nobody.”
