Duchess Kate dons festive sparkle at the Sun Military Awards
Kate Middleton was catapulted into fame when she married Prince William this year. With her impeccable style and classic beauty, her fashion know-how is followed by many style enthusiasts across the globe. She is always spotted wearing trendy outfits in plenty of occasions, including exquisitely chic galas and gatherings. With her peerlessly elegant wedding gown, she is also hailed as the Queen of Fashion by style watchers in the industry. No wonder she placed number one in Harper Bazaar’s stylish list of Britain’s Best Dressed 2011.
Duchess Kate dazzled at the Sun Military Awards held at the Imperial War Museum in London by wearing a strapless black velvet frock with a frill trim around the bust and a fishtail-style skirt. The stylish Alexander McQueen dress is so long that she had to keep hitching it up to keep it from scraping on the ground. With her dashing husband, she walked the red carpet with aplomb. Kate’s all black attire matched with Prince William’s exquisitely designed black suit paired with black tie.
The lovely royal stole the attention of many guests in the event with her winning ensemble and glowing aura. To emphasize the gorgeous design of her floor-length gown, she accessorized with a matching black velvet clutch, chunky diamond necklace, sparkling bracelet and modish earrings. She has slipped on a pair of chic black pumps and applied light pink lipstick to complete the fabulous look.
The highlight of the dazzling style is her perfect slash of “Scousebrow” or thick eyebrows made famous by the Liverpudlian show, Desperate Scousewives. She let her tresses down her shoulders to create an uncomplicated smoldering fashion.
