Katie Holmes dons sophisticated chic style at the New York Premiere of the Latest Mission Impossible film

In recent weeks, Katie Holmes chose to flaunt casual outfits. The Hollywood diva wore a black silk jumpsuit paired with a white lace blouse during her 33^rd birthday celebration at New York hotspot Buddakan restaurant. The laidback ensemble matched with her dewy makeup and natural lip shade.

But Katie opted for an ultra glamorous look as she joined husband, Tom Cruise, at the premiere of the new Mission Impossible film in New York last night.

The American actress sported a navy polka dot sheer Holmes & Yang dress as she posed in front of the cameras with her dapper-looking husband. The ornately designed above-the-knee number complemented Tom’s black suit. To highlight the modish frock, she accessorized with a voguish necklace, light makeup and chic hairstyle. She completed the classy style with a pair of opaque black tights and heels.

Katie flaunted the sophisticated look after she disclosed in an interview with the January issue of Elle Magazine that she received fashion advice from her stylish friend Victoria Beckham. She explained: “We go to the same events, and we’ll call each other to ask, “What color are you wearing?” I’m always interested in what she’s liking for the season.”

The 33-year-old star showed off her glowing appearance in the star-studded occasion. Perhaps she was elated with the positive reviews on her husband’s performance in the fourth Mission Impossible franchise. The movie opened on limited release in the U.S. last weekend and managed to graze in $13m, taking third place at the box office. With its extensive release set for Wednesday, it could well top the charts after this weekend.
