Mariah Carey’s winter chic style in Aspen

Mariah Carey’s fame as a singer was emphasized upon the release of her phenomenal album, “Butterfly.” The reviews of the album were generally positive. The engaging assessment of Rolling Stone on the project states that, “Mariah has spread her wings and she’s ready to fly.” With her continual established prominence and popularity, Rolling Stone’s visionary words seemed to lay down her successful career path.

These days, the 41-year-old singer continued to enrich her charmed life. She was spotted showing off her winter chic style as she ventured out into the crisp air of Aspen. Flaunting rosy glow and cheerful demeanor, she looked stylish in a caped jacket, black leggings and a pair of winter suede boots. She upped the glamour by sporting some clever makeup application—dabbing on the perfect blush to complement her seasonal style. To complete the dazzling look, she wore huge sunglasses and minimal accessories.

The singer and husband Nick Cannon usually go to Aspen for Christmas but didn’t last year due to fears the high altitude may get in the way with her pregnancy. She still went away because she has to be someplace with snow at Christmas. She said at that time, “It’s got to be snowy. I was considering staying in LA because we love it, but it’s not the most seasonal of places. I need snow.”

In a recent interview with The Sun, the American recording artist shared how she is “amazed and humbled” that her 1991 hit song “All I Want for Christmas” is still a holiday classic. No wonder she recently re-released the track in collaboration with Justin Bieber. She enthused: “Who’d have thought, all those years ago when I wrote it, that it would still be having an impact today?”
