This year, Duchess Kate topped the Harper’s Bazaar’s sartorial it-list. That’s why she was dubbed as Britain’s Best Dressed woman. She is also recently known as the Queen of Style and The Sartorial Star.
We pay attention to Kate’s latest look that immediately reached the radar of various style watchers. When she recently emerged elegant in a regal plum outfit, the pretty wife of Prince William bagged all the headlines in today’s papers. On her first Christmas at Sandringham, she chose to flaunt a festive berry shade to match with her glowing appearance. She looked stylishly elegant in a modest maroon attire. She paired the simple knee-length frock coat with a pair of black platforms from LK Bennett. To emphasize her gorgeous style, she sported a chic hat designed by Jane Corbett.
Moments after photos of her stylish look was made available online, several fashion bloggers noticed the pair of diamond drop earrings that Kate wore in the occasion. Reportedly, the eye-catching pair of 18ct gold drop earrings was made by Chelsea-based designer, Kiki McDonough, known for her use of bright-colored semi-precious stones in daring color mishmash.
McDonough recently shared with Vogue about the Duchess’s inspiring style panache. She stated: “It is wonderful to see such a stylish young person wearing my designs. As a ‘modern Royal,’ Catherine is as chic when dressed down as she is at formal engagements—my jewelery is designed to be worn every day, and Catherine does this beautifully.” She added: “I once counted Princess Diana as one of my most loyal customers and we always had such fun choosing designs for her to wear—she took great pleasure in wearing my jewelery. It is a very special added extra that Catherine now enjoys wearing my designs too.”
