While 2012 is still a just a baby, I thought I’d list my favorite 2011 fashionable celebrity. The top spot on my list goes to 35-year-old German actress Diane Kruger whose intriguingly unique style always brightens my day. Not only is she a style setter, but her and boyfriend Joshua Jackson are one of my favorite couples – so cute! You may know Joshua Jackson as Pacey Witter from Dawson’s Creek others might know him as Peter Bishop from Fringe (in which she once made a cameo appearance). When compared side-by-side to her runway counterpart, I think she often wears her gowns better than the model.

At the 2011 Cannes film festival, Diane Kruger wore a gown by Calvin Klein that clung to her great physique like liquid gold.
In February 2011, for the Berlin Film Festival, Diane wore an angelic Vionnet Spring 2011 dress that made her look like she was floating down the red carpet.
This May at the 2011 Met Gala in New York City she dazzled in an amazing Jason Wu creation. It was a glorious sparkly flowery affair on top with a daringly high slit on the bottom.
Diane seems to consistently dazzle in Jason Wu’s style creations, and if you saw her in her 2010 mustard Screen Actor’s Guilds Awards (for winning the Outstanding Performance by a Cast for Inglorious Basterds) you’d understand.

At the Liaisons Au Louvre II Charity Gala Dinner, Diane looked effortlessly chic in an Alessandra Rich creation. The look managed to be fashion forward and yet classic and regal at the same time. On almost anyone else the outfit may have faltered, with the daring lime green embroidery and the bright orange belt, but Diane managed to pull the look off elegantly.
Diane Kruger has such an enviable innovative style that her looks always look fresh and are such a wonderful inspiration. This lady has talent and I, for one, can’t wait to see what she has brewing both on the silver screen and the red carpet for 2012.
