Sophisticated Meryl Streep dazzled at the UK Premiere of “The Iron Lady”
Meryl Streep is widely regarded as one of the most awarded and respected actresses of the contemporary era. She received more acting awards nominations than any other actor in the history of Academy Awards and Golden Globe. With her extraordinary talent, she possesses timeless beauty and a remarkable fashion sense.
The American actress graces the UK Premiere of her movie, The Iron Lady earlier tonight. The cold British weather didn’t stop the award-winning star to chat with her fans and prepare to show off her latest film. She looked stunning and in good spirits as she walked the blue carpet.
The glamorous event, which was held at the BFI Southbank, paved way for the 62-year-old lady to flaunt her fashionable ensemble. Meryl wore a long black dress that had a hint of a plunging neckline. She teamed the trendy outfit with a massive black and blue poncho-style winter coat. She completed the gorgeous look with a chunky pair of black-heeled boots, a gold statement necklace and chic cuff bangle.
The star-studded gathering featured other fashionable stars. Streep’s onscreen husband, Jim Broadbent, looked very smart in a grey three-piece suit which he wore with a white shirt. Emilia Fox donned a midi-length grey shiny dress with a pair of black peep-toe heels. Meanwhile, the Harry Potter star Fiona Shaw donned an eccentric pair of tights with a fur-trimmed coat to parade her sophisticated style. However, the adorable 17-month-old Tyler Secomb almost stole the show when she caught the attention of Meryl Streep and other stars. The 62-year-old actress paid the baby boy, who was wearing pink all-in-one outfit, some special attention and made sure they had a photo together.
