Charlize Theron is one of our favorite fashion trendsetters. She is ultimately modish, pretty and talented. With her impressive personality and feminine sensibilities, she excelled in many of her acting endeavors. But the lovely actress is somewhat clumsy these days. Just over a month ago, she almost took a tumble after tripping over a floor light as she attended the Gotham Independent Film Awards in New York. Earlier today, the gorgeous star almost parted with her strappy Christian Louboutin heeled shoes as she attempted to walk in the grass at a Palm Springs luncheon.
The stunning ensemble of the award-winning actress seemed to cover her clumsiness. She donned a modish sleeveless, bright green dress that clung to her toned figure. She teamed the well-designed frock with a pair of strappy Christian Louboutin heels. Since the attractive knee-length dress featured a black lining detail, Charlize’s look reflected a sensational and immaculate red carpet moment. She accented the elegant outfit with a black purse, sparkling accessories and up-to-date makeup. The leggy lady sported a neat pulled-back hair to recreate an effortlessly chic look with a bit of preppy, ladylike and modern elements all at the same time.
Charlize stylishly attended the Variety Indie Impact Awards afternoon lunch, which was held at the Palm Springs International Film Festival to pick up an award for her commitment to independent film. The award – sponsored by Mercedes-Benz – celebrates actors who are able to move easily between indie films and mainstream studio blockbusters. The 36-year-old star has always been a huge supporter of independent films, balancing big studio projects with specialty productions such as In the Valley of Elah and The Burning Plain.
