Emmy Rossum mixed bold prints and bright colors in a fashion shoot
Emmy Rossum’s character in the Showtime television drama series Shameless is far from gorgeous. Portraying the character as Fiona Gallagher in the hit television show, she is always seen wearing drab-looking outfits. But in the new photo shoot for Self Magazine, the famed US fitness magazine, Emmy experimented with bright colors, floral prints and stripes.
The 25-year-old actress looked trendy in the photos for the February issue of Self Magazine. In the fashion shoot, she stylishly mixed bold prints and bright colors and wore outfits that are usually favored by famed “chic street style” fashion bloggers and style celebrities in the industry. Abandoning the messy hairstyle that was featured in her character in the TV show, she opted for an elegant bun and on-trend makeup.
The lovely star pulls off each style with aplomb. In one photo, she donned a salmon and black wool sweater with a red chunky necklace. She completed the trendy look by painting her nails with blue nail polish and opting for stunning flushed makeup. In another image, she was featured spraying a Mini Cooper with water while modeling a modish dress.
Emmy highlighted the attire with colorful sunglasses, orange-colored heeled footwear and a slash of red-orange lipstick. In another endearing picture, she holds a bouquet of flowers, which played a stunning contrast to her bluish top and white skirt with floral patterns.
Emmy admitted that she enjoyed the photo shoot. She told Self Magazine: “I had so much fun in these clothes – they’re feminine with an edge.” She added: “It’s liberating to mix it up, pairing stripes with florals or wearing two brights together. It makes your style unique. And it’s not like cutting your hair. You can always take the sweater off!”
