Kate Beckinsale’s girly white dress at Underworld Photocall
Kate Beckinsale has displayed an interesting look earlier this week. Wearing a pair of skintight leather trousers, she showed off an ultra chic ensemble which is reminiscent of her famous character in the movie, Underworld: Awakening. Now that she has appeared in a Berlin photocall for the latest film, a lot of her fans were anxious to see her photos showcasing a bad girl leather figure. But the pretty actress chose to channel her fashion sweetheart image instead of the rogue-looking attire.
The 38-year-old actress gave herself a total makeover as she went for a feminine white number with large bow bedecked in its entirety during her latest promotional event. She wore a white strapless frock with an A-line hem. She teamed the girly white dress, with a pair of gold peep toe heels.
Sporting a clothing piece which is completely different of her “Vampire Selene” look, Kate has shown fashion resilience and style elegance. To fully accentuate the knee-length outfit, she finished off the look with large white ring and scraped her brunette tresses into an up-do. The Hollywood heavyweight was also photographed wearing an immaculate makeup with a slash of light pink lipstick.
Kate recently admitted that she was fed up with directors only seeing her as a “fragile” lady. In an interview with Daily Star, she explained, “I’d had some feedback from casting directors kind of saying, We don’t know if we really want to see her for this part, cause it’s a cop, and she’s really very delicate and British and fragile. And I thought, “I’ve got to do something about that. I’ve got to play something that has a little bit more edge to it.” She added: “I love this character (Selene). I really am proud of the fact that I’ve gotten to play this kind of rather iconic, empowered, empowering woman.”
