For the past several weeks, a lot of celebrities prefer bandage dresses, all-black outfits and up-to-date accessories to show off an impressive style. Now that the New York Fashion Week is fast approaching, everyone is busy looking for ingenuous designs for inspiration. For ordinary fashion enthusiasts, trying to amp a street style is one of the best ways to enjoy the fashion world. On the other hand, celebrities prefer flaunting their gorgeous styles by wearing well-designed frocks.
Enter Kelly Rowland. The American singer looked like a goddess as she was honored by Essence magazine last night. Wearing a flowing gown, the lovely singer dazzled at the annual Black Women in Music pre-Grammy event held in Los Angeles.
The singer, who turns 31 on Saturday, looked glamorous as she arrived at the Essence Black Women in Music event. She wore a one-shouldered orange gown which she emphasized with a gorgeous big hair fashion. Perfectly channeling a Grecian goddess, the former Destiny’s Child performer teamed the bewitching attire with three chic rings and gleaming earrings. She finished off the look with an immaculate makeup and a curly hairdo.
Kelly’s former Destiny’s Child band mate Michelle Williams also attended the gathering to support her. She sported a sheer brown mini dress, which she paired with killer heels and chic accesories.
In an interview with MailOnline, Michelle enthused, “We normally like to give each other our space but when Kelly told me she was being honoured, she said that I had to be here.” She added that she thought her friend Beyonce looked fabulous during her recent post-baby debut. She stated: “She looked amazing! You know that she had a six-pack before she gave birth so there’s muscle memory. But she looked in fantastic shape already.”
