Cher Lloyd debuts her grunge look in the fashion world

Cher Lloyd’s background in the entertainment industry is quite interesting. She was catapulted to fame when she finished fourth in the seventh series of The X Factor. With her blossoming singing career, she had the chance to show off her impeccable style and flair in the world of fashion.

On the set of her new video in California, the dashing teenager attempted to go for a more serious approach for her next song. She flaunted an interesting grungy look that transformed her into a dazzling diva.

The 18-year-old star donned a cropped t-shirt and pleated leather mini skirt. She teamed the worn ragged style with a pair of heavy boots and ripped lacy tights. To emphasize her curly tresses, she topped it off with different rock chick-type jewelry pieces. The trendy green-hued bracelet completed the look.

Cher later posted a picture of herself and fiancé Craig Monk with a canine friend on the set of the video shoot. The post is accompanied with the caption: “Me and craig yesterday at the video shoot..what a cute dog!!!!! Xxxx.”

In a recent interview, the lovely singer also mentioned about her point of view as a celebrity. She stated that she is not “your average celebrity, and never will be. I am a businesswoman.” She added, “We singers are known as public property, just because this is what we’ve dreamed of doing forever. But it doesn’t mean you can knock us to the ground and treat us like s***. We’re real people, and what we’re doing is hard work.”

Currently, Miss Lloyd also hit out critics of her recent engagement to hairdresser Craig. She said, “People are negative no matter what you do. People are always going to say “she’s too young”. I’m from a gypsy background! I’m meant to be married by now.”
