The ways in which women handle problems are not always similar. Some women may try to hide their true feelings whenever they encounter problems. Others may go through difficult moments that result in severe depression and utter personal neglect.
Katy Perry went through a very difficult situation when she and Russell Brand got divorced. However, she showed her strength and positive attitude, despite the quandary. The singer never failed to flaunt stylish outfits throughout the ordeal. No wonder she is one of our favorite role models, both for how she faces life experiences and for her fashion sense.
The American singer recently talked about her life in a sit-down interview with late-night, talk show host Jay Leno. She visited The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to promote her upcoming feature film, Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D. To highlight the event, she donned a gorgeous ensemble.
Katy wore a slim-fitting, navy dress with red flower accents. The figure-hugging dress perfectly complemented her shapely physique and fabulous personality. She accessorized with a pair of red shoes, chic earrings, and simple makeup. She finished off the look with a slash of dark pink lipstick and loose, curly tresses that flowed over her shoulders.
The 27-year-old singer hinted in an interview that she handled the collapse of her 14-month marriage with “the most integrity” in the film. She explained:
“I wanted to handle it very delicately with the most integrity I could possibly have and show people that like, look, yeah, I’m going through some of the same situations that half of America goes through, and somehow I landed on my feet, and you don’t have to lay down and die, even if you feel like you’re going to.”
