We know that Katy Perry is skilled at showcasing eccentric outfits, especially during her live stage performances. However, she is also proficient at showing off old Hollywood glamour by wearing modish gowns.
Katy Perry dons a velvet red dress at film premiere of Katy Perry: Part of Me
Earlier today, Katy stylishly arrived at the premiere of her new “fly-on-the-wall” film. She dazzled at Grauman’s Theater in Hollywood for the premiere of Katy Perry: Part of Me. Wearing a strapless, red, velvet frock that was cinched in at the waist and fell to just below her knees, she looked effortlessly elegant. She finished off the look with a vintage hairstyle, a pair of matching, red, heeled shoes, bright red lipstick, and a red and white clutch bag. Miss Perry’s flawless complexion and cheerful personality added allure to her regal-looking style.
The 27-year-old singer changed her outfit before going on stage to perform and promote Katy Perry: Part of Me. She was seen bursting out of a giant popcorn bag in an impressive, film-themed dress that included a film-reel bra and a red and white striped skirt with giant popcorn detail. To complete the look, she wore a pair of pink heels and red, cat eye sunglasses with candy detail.
But the popcorn skirt didn’t remain on for long. Perry whipped it off during her performance to reveal a pair of short, high-waisted pants decorated with American candy bars, presumably in keeping with the cinema snack theme.
In a recent interview, Katy talked about the film, including the downfall of her marriage to Russell Brand. She stated:
“When I find that person that’s going to be my life partner, I won’t ever have to choose. They won’t be threatened or have weird motives. Then I started to realize, that’s not true.”
