A wedding dress fit for a princess. That’s how we see envision it. When we first knew Anne Hathaway, we fell in love with her in her elegant flowing gown as the long-lost princess of Monrovia in The Princess Diaries. Now, shed the teenage Anne and look forward to her wedding day – which we assume is going to happen soon.
After much speculation, finally we have a name for Anne Hathaway’s wedding dress designer. At the New York City Ballet Fall Gala, Designer-for-the-stars Valentino Garavani, or simply Valentino, revealed that he did the dress for the 29-year-old actress for her upcoming wedding with actor Adam Shulman. The two got engaged in 2011 after dating for almost three years.
Hathaway also attended the elegant event. The actress looked beautiful in a long, full-sleeved floral dress, which got us thinking she may not be wearing something similar on her wedding, but we are pretty sure she will look stunning as always.
Valentino has long been a favorite among celebrities. Undoubtedly, he has the talent to make anyone shine on the red carpet, and yes, we are certain ‘down the aisle,’ too.
We simply can’t wait to see beautiful bride-to-be Anne Hathaway in a dress fit for a princess.
Fashion Note: We have never seen a bride in a full-sleeved, colored floral wedding dress. Cast your wedding jitters aside, who wants to try and pull off an unforgettable nuptial fashion surprise?
