Hollywood’s A-lister Anne Hathaway got married to Adam Shulman last weekend in a private ceremony in Big Sur, California. Now, we finally get to see what kind of wedding gown she donned for the special occasion.
Gossip sites had been buzzing that Hathaway’s gown was going to be designed by her designer friend, Valentino, and it turned out to be true. The dress is a custom Valentino creation, imagined by Valentino himself and made by seamstresses in Rome, in the designer’s own couture atelier.
Reps of Valentino said that the dress is “a strapless ivory silk point d’esprit tulle dress, with a touch of a pink hand-painted shaded train embroidered with satin flowers.” To match Hathaway’s supercute pixie haircut, the team also provided a 1920s-inspired veil made from a lace ribbon, decorated with a large flower and embellished with small crystal beads.
We hope official pics from her wedding come out soon! Congratulations, Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman!
