Naomi Watts was simply elegant in a silky blue Grecian-style gown on Saturday at the Palm Springs Film Festival gala, where she was presented with a Desert Palm Achievement Award for her challenging role in The Impossible.
In the film, Naomi plays a real-life survivor of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami alongside talented 16-year-old actor Tom Holland, who plays her son.
The Palm Springs Film Festival was a star-studded event hosted by Mary Hart. Helen Mirren was presented with the International Star Award by Les Miserables director Tom Hooper. The Academy Award-winner was radiant in a red Escada gown, David Webb jewelry, and Stuart Weitzman shoes.
Diane Lane was also beautiful in her lacy lavender Dolce and Gabbana dress. She presented her former co-star, Richard Gere, with the Chairman’s Award.
Also present in the event were Tom Hanks, Ben Affleck, Les Miserables‘ Eddie Redmayne, and Bradley Cooper, who looked handsome in their dark suits.
