It was a show of the chic when stars gathered for the National Board of Review Awards Gala 2013 in New York on Tuesday.
Anne Hathaway reconciled comfy and elegant in a black St. Laurent suit and Givenchy sandals. She accessorized with a Jill Milan clutch bag. She went for a ‘no-makeup makeup’ and ended up looking glam.
Emily Blunt went for ‘natural’ and was chic in a svelte cream dress. She slipped on a pair of golden pumps to complete the look.
Amanda Seyfried used her golden-girl charm once again to make a grand entrance and impact on the carpet. She was classy in a Bottega Veneta dress and Alexandre Birman shoes. While we like her when she wears her hair loose, we’re still loving the princessy braided bun she wore at the Les Mis premiere. Very regal!
We believe you could rarely go wrong in black. Jessica Chastain looked right in a simple but elegant Alexander McQueen dress that featured a back slit.
It wasn’t only the girls who captivated the lenses. The guys also came dressed to impress. We can’t call them ‘chic.’ Rather, Ben Affleck, Bradley Cooper, and Eddie Redmayne were ‘dashing’ in their suits. Daniel Craig, of course, was also dashing. We have yet to see a James Bond who is a lousy dresser!
