1993 was a very busy year for the iconic songstress Annie Lennox. She was riding the high of releasing her 1992 album Diva, which went platinum in the United Kingdom as well as the United States. It went gold in Germany. Her singles “Little Bird” and “Love Song for a Vampire” were topping the charts throughout Europe. She was nominated for three Grammy Awards, one of which she won. She also gave birth to a daughter, Tali. A busy year, indeed! Tali’s father is Uri Fruchtman, a producer of films and record, to whom Annie Lennox was married at the time. That marriage ended in 2000.
Seventeen years later, Tali Lennox is growing into her own and is stepping into the spotlight as a fashion model. Just as her mother, Annie, is capable of rocking entire nations of music lovers, it seems that Tali is on her way to rocking the catwalk. She is currently signed with Next Models. She has already walked in fashion shows for a number of big name designers. For example, she has been in shows for Missoni, Roberto Cavalli, Burberry, and Prada. Tali has also modeled for Miu Miu.
Although Tali is all grown up — or at least almost all grown up — she still relies on her mother for important life advice. In a recent interview, Tali said, “I talk through every aspect of my job with my mum, and she’s given me a lot of self-belief and wisdom.” Based on the jobs that she has already booked, it seems that Tali may have quite a career as a model. And, if she keeps getting great advice from her rocker mom, then it is likely that she will be successful. It will be interesting to see how her career progresses and what catwalks she shows up on next.
