What is the A-list wearing right now? One word: white. OK, four words and one ampersand: Dolce & Gabbana white dresses. Not one, not three, but five starlets have recently been photographed wearing short white dresses from the Dolce & Gabbana collection. The chic set includes Anne Hathaway, Diane Kruger, LeAnn Rimes, Kate Bosworth, and Blake Lively.
All of the ladies look lovely and ethereal in these white, lacy, delicate garments. It is not surprising that these fashionistas all look so royal and elegant in these dresses. In fact, the designers have explained that the collection was inspired by a bride’s hope chest.
One thing is for sure: all of the dresses in this collection are just exquisite. However, not all star stylings are equally as perfect. Anne Hathaway, Blake Lively, and Diane Kruger all looked just fantastic in these dresses. All three paired the dresses with great heels that either complimented or accented the garments. Kate Bosworth, however, made a misstep by covering up with a military jacket and black ankle boots. LeAnne Rimes also chose shoes that seemed to clash with the dress. Dark, with thick straps, the shoes were in exact opposition to the style direction of the dress.
While there is some variation in the necklines of these dresses, all of them are cut so as to show off maximum gam length. They can all certainly fall into the category of “mini dresses.” Want to look as good as the celebs do in these garments? We suggest a bit of cardio training and specific thigh-toning exercises. Lunges, anyone? And don’t forget to hit the StairMaster! Another tip for looking great in these dresses: make sure that your legs are well-moisturized. This is one of the best ways to show off the results of all of those hours in the gym.
