In the vast world of celebrity fashion, there are few things we love more than when an A-list star wears something completely outside of his or her comfort zone – and nails it. That’s exactly what happened at the Los Angeles premiere of Skateland on Wednesday, May 11th at Hollywood’s famed Arclight Theater, where Twilight star Ashley Greene arrived on the red carpet in an uncharacteristically frilly pale pink Fendi gown, complete with vibrant pink lips and nails. We are basically obsessed with this look from head to toe – so keep reading to learn how to transform your look like Ashley. After all, we’re all equally in need of a skin transformation for summer, and who better to be our inspiration than a former vampire-turned-rosy goddess? Read below for a few photos from the event – and for our best tips on how to achieve a similar look.

Skateland isn’t exactly our cinematic cup of tea, so we’ll probably pass on seeing the flick in theatres. Although we’re sure our tween and teenaged cousins will dig the movie, we’re more interested in the premiere fashion. Luckily for us, Ashley really delivered in her frothy Fendi confection. We’re used to seeing Ms. Greene in all of her porcelain-faced, red-eyed, vampire glory, so we almost didn’t recognize the brunette beauty at the premiere. If you have a similar complexion, pale pink is a great option for spring and summer. Nude hues are everywhere, and a soft baby pink is a totally fresh take on the trend for fair skinned fashionistas.

If you opt for a pink frock this season, it’s important to make your features pop with a saturated lipstick, blush and nail color. Since Ashley’s gown is a pretty pastel, she took a bolder risk with her makeup routine – and it really paid off! For a similar effect, try a cream blush stick in a vibrant fuchsia, and don’t be intimidated by the color in the tube. Blend the product into the apples of your cheeks with your fingers, and you’ll be glowing like Ashley all spring. Finish your look with an equally vibrant pink lipstick and nail lacquer, and wear your pink hues with premiere-worthy confidence.
