Ashley Tisdale turns 26 at the PURE nightclub
It’s hard to believe those teeny bopper High School Musical stars are growing up so fast, isn’t it? But we recently spotted Sharpay herself celebrating her 26th birthday party in the city of sin, Las Vegas, on Friday, July 15th. Ashley rounded up some of her very best celebrity friends and hit Hollywood favorite PURE Nightclub to drink, dance, and delight in what she claims will be her best year yet. While we aren’t so sure life peaks at 26, we are sure that her lingerie-inspired party dress was one of the hottest looks we’ve ever seen on the Disney princess. Her risqué ensemble isn’t for everyone, but we think it was a perfect choice for the young starlet. After all, when else, besides your 26th birthday party in Vegas, can you get away with wearing a dress that could double as underwear?
All jokes aside, we think Ashley looked great – and she certainly has the body to wear such a revealing look. Bedroom-inspired frocks have been popular for several seasons now, and Ashley’s micro-mini version is spot on-trend. The v-neckline and tank-style straps kept things fashionable, instead of floozy, and balanced the hyper-mini hemline.
Typically, we prefer nightie-like dresses in deeper, rich colors like black, teal and eggplant, because a saturated hue helps differentiate a dress from a piece of bedroom attire. But Ashley’s ivory actually works on her because it’s not super lacy. Besides the feminine lace hemline, the entire dress is structured satin, and features a flattering cinched waist that keeps the silhouette appropriate for public wear.
Ashley even let her sexy little dress take center stage, and opted to go bling-less for her birthday. We think she did a great job anchoring her airy look with black booties, which kept her look high-fashion, instead of high-risk. Her sleek and smooth blowout and heavily lined peepers dressed up her birthday ensemble, and kept things polished and pretty.
