We’re talking about the softest shade of dove gray, here – and boy did Demi Moore wear the trendy color to absolute fashion perfection at a recent Bvlgari bash in Beverly Hills. The event, held at a private residence in the posh-est zip code in the country, took place on January 13 and benefited two great charitable causes – Save the Children Foundation and Artists for Peace and Justice. While the stars turned out in droves to support some great charities and enjoy a great party, of course our eyes were all over the great fashion! Admittedly, everyone from cutie Kirsten Dunst to hunky Gerard Butler looked his or her best for the evening, but we’re head over heels for Mrs. Ashton Kutcher’s pale gray party frock. We especially loved her unique accessories – so read on for photos of her look!

Dove gray is slowly creeping onto the fashion scene for spring, and while the color isn’t the easiest to pull off for fair-skinned gals, Demi was a knockout in her dress. The heather-like quality of the pattern broke up an otherwise bland gray dress – and made her emerald peepers positively pop. We’re also loving the slightly asymmetrical knee-length hemline and the feminine draping of the dress. Demi always nails the perfect looks for her knockout body, and manages to never appear like she’s trying too hard. Too many actresses try to hide their age behind too-tight, too-bright looks, but Demi Moore proves she has nothing to hide – and always looks gorgeously appropriate. No wonder she manages to keep her (much!) younger hubby so hooked!

We also think Demi’s accessories here worked perfectly with the dove gray hue. Gray can be tricky to compliment, but instead of opting for basic and boring black, Ms. Moore went with pointy nude Casadei pumps, which flattered and elongated her silhouette. Her beautiful bronze clutch flattered her dress and was the apropos nod to the event host Bvlgari. If you’re interested in trying dove gray for spring, try mixing it with unexpected hues like bronze or gold instead of playing it safe with black accessories.
