Golden Globe Ladies: Who Ran It?
We always love award shows because that’s where we see our favorite celebrities at their best. The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards is the first major award show in 2009 and here are some of the ladies rockin’ the red carpet.
Make mental notes, dear fashionistas, nude is the color of 2009. Salma Hayek, Penelope Cruz, Eva Mendes and Beyonce all went for nudes, we have the sneaking suspicion if they’ve called each other up and dressed up together like we all used to do when we go to the prom. But as much nude-craze swept the red carpet, we are almost relieved to see a vibrant Eva Longoria with her red dress. The train of the dress is sooooo dramatic, she brought Hollywood glamor back to life. But we think she’s missing a Harry Winston necklace there. Her poor neck is too bare.
And there’s still Jennifer Lopez who, well, almost went seriously nude.
Somehow we’re not really feelin’ this dress. It reminded us a bit of that legendary green plunging neckline Versace number she wore to the Grammys years back, but it doesn’t seem… new.
Well anyway, who do you think ran the red carpet, people?
