We weren’t surprised to see Heidi Klum at the Los Angeles premiere of Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil in Hollywood on April 19th. We had previously heard rumors that the fashionable mother of four was lending her famous pipes to the animated film, and were psyched when we discovered those rumors were true. In the fun kiddie flick, Klum plays a yodeling character, aptly named Heidi, who helps Little Red Riding Hood in her journey to discover where young Hansel and Gretel have gone. If you have a family, Hoodwinked Too! sounds like the perfect weekend treat – and if you don’t have young ones, you’ll still benefit from Heidi’s style inspiration at the red carpet premiere. The ageless supermodel arrived in her own version of jeans and a t-shirt, and the combination is so fabulous, we’ll be stealing a similar look for our next casual Friday at the office.
Jeans and a casual top take on a whole new meaning when draped over a woman known in fashion circles as “The Body.” Heidi has an enviable ability to turn anything she wears into a classic, and her emerald and white Tibi blouse and Paige skinny jeans are no exception. Skinny denim has dominated runways for years, and just recently has been overtaken by 70s-style flares. But despite the reining trend, Heidi’s skinnies look super fresh with a cute cuff, a light wash and a few strategically placed tears. The small ankle cuff provides the perfect showcase for Heidi’s drool-worthy polka dot platform sandals by Miu Miu, and a modern, mushroom-colored pedicure completes her fancy feet.
Heidi’s green and white patterned blouse is super flattering, and we love the deep scoop neckline. Look for similar shapes this spring, and pair them with your most casual jeans for a Heidi-approved look. Heidi opted for a bare neck and easy, windblown hair – but you can glam up your version with a bold necklace and a sleek and chic ponytail. We love Heidi’s casual red carpet look – but do you agree?
