Jenna Fischer at premiere of A Little Help
Since some of our favorite stylish Hollywood mamas have recently given birth (Victoria Beckham’s and Kate Hudson’s babies were both born on July 10th,) we’ve had to find other expecting A-listers to mimic. Luckily, Jessica Alba and Selma Blair are both still happily pregnant, and have given us plenty of easy, breezy summer style inspiration. But we spotted our most recent favorite maternity look on The Office star Jenna Fischer, at the premiere of her latest flick, A Little Help, held in Los Angeles on Thursday, July 14th. The woman who portrays beloved Pam Beasley-Halpert opted for an electric blue maxidress by Ana Maria, and the silhouette was absolute perfection on her burgeoning belly. We love the empire waistline and deep v-neck, and think a similar dress would look great on a wide range of body types, even if you’re not a growing mother-to be! For starters, we are obsessed with the vibrant cobalt hue of Jenna’s flowing frock. This summer, nothing’s hotter than searingly bright neon, and we haven’t spotted a shade quite like this unique violet-laced blue before! Keep your eyes peeled for pieces in a similar color this summer, and wear the shade with confidence well into Fall 2011.
We think Jenna did a great job accessorizing her Ana Maria design with black strappy sandals and minimal jewelry. When you’re wearing a bright hue, it’s important to keep hair, makeup and accessories simple and understated to let your dress take center stage. We’re not sure if Jenna’s lack of bling is a style statement – or simply due to swollen fingers, but either way, she’s fashion perfection in this dress!
As much as we adore her stylish, premiere-worthy maternity ensemble, we were even more excited that she was willing to leak a few The Office spoilers for next season! She left us on the hook, revealing to Fox News that, “Pam will be pregnant when the season starts.”
