Jennifer Aniston is now a part of the walk of fame

Our favorite Friend has enjoyed quite the busy summer! Between back-to-back summer movie premieres (Just Go With It, followed almost immediately by Horrible Bosses,) and an apparent burgeoning romance with fellow actor Justin Theroux, it’s amazing that she’s had time to squeeze in her daily yoga and pilates session, much less a glamorous hand and footprint ceremony on the famed Hollywood Walk of Fame. But that’s exactly what she did, outside iconic Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Los Angeles, on Thursday, July 7th. We certainly weren’t surprised to see Jen finally cemented into Hollywood history after over two successful decades in the business, but we were surprised by her uncharacteristically frilly frock!

Jen, who normally opts for safe, yet stylish little black dresses, chose an uber feminine, floral print dress by Prada, and paired it with nude peep toe platforms by Gucci. If we hadn’t been anticipating her arrival to the ceremony, we honestly would not have recognized her! Even though her dress surprised us, we are completely smitten with the romantic, pale blue and-violet-color palate, not to mention the summery, airy cut. Read on for more event photos – and tell us in the comments: are you loving Jen’s colorful new look as much as we are?

As much as we adore little black dresses, we think Jen tends to overuse the wardrobe staple, and wish she would dress in color more often. Her gorgeous, ever-present sun kissed glow creates the perfect canvas for fun color palates, and her newly chopped, effortless, California-girl blonde bob shines against her floral dress. The comfy, generous cut of Jen’s dress also allows her amazing figure to shine, without becoming too overtly sexy for a daytime event.

If you’re looking to steal Jen’s star style this summer, you don’t need to break the bank. In fact, we’ve seen similar Prada-inspired dresses everywhere from Target to H&M, all for under $30! The key to nailing the look is to keep accessories neutral to allow your pretty pattern to steal the spotlight, just like Jen!
