Just when we’re ready to settle into our pretty and pastel Spring and Summer 2011 looks, our favorite red carpet fashionistas are already debuting their Pre-Fall and Fall 2011 picks! We’re certainly not complaining – we love a good fashion sneak-peek. And so far, the looks we’ve seen have been totally gorgeous. So even though we’re not quite ready to think about the impending autumn, we’re happy to see a few best-dressed celebrities rock their new favorite fall pieces. And at the March 21st New York City premiere of her new HBO series, “Mildred Pierce,” British beauty Kate Winslet wore an amazing runway look from Stella McCartney’s Fall 2011 collection.
Kate has the kind of body-love we wish we could bottle and sell. Her distinctly feminine shape makes men drool and ladies jealous, but she is also outspoken about the unrealistic expectations for young women in show business. You’ll never see Kate shrink down to a size zero after a nasty tabloid story about her hips or thighs – and that’s just another reason why we love her.
Kate’s McCartney design highlighted her best asset – that classic knockout hourglass frame – while still incorporating some super modern elements. It looks like cutouts will continue to be huge into the fall, but that the newer versions will feature a sheer, patterned overlay. We are digging the polka dots down the sleeve – and are already brainstorming ways to use the trend once the leaves start to fall.
Kate accessorized her perfectly tailored dress with black and nude strappy stilettos from the same Stella McCartney Collection and a sleek gold clutch by Calvin Klein. She swept her currently blonde locks away from her face to showcase her flawless porcelain skin. We are in love with this look – but what do you think?
