Kim Kardashian shopping for Top Secret Wedding Dress
Now that we’re finally recovered from Royal Wedding Mania, it’s our turn to have an over-the-top glamorous nuptial celebration on our side of the Pond! And since our version of Hollywood Royalty happens to be the Kardashian sisters, Kim’s upcoming wedding to NBA star Kris Humphries couldn’t have happened at a better time.
Sure, Princess Kate’s custom Alexander McQueen gown was stunning, but we have a feeling Kim might just upstage the future queen. Even though the Kardashians don’t have castles maintained by taxpayers and a treasure trove of diamond-encrusted tiaras waiting for them upon maturation, there’s plenty of similarities between the two huge wedding bashes. Kate kept her wedding gown top secret until her Big Day, and it looks like Kim is doing the same thing, paying a quiet visit to the Vera Wang Boutique on Manhattan’s posh Upper East Side on Monday, June 27th. Below, read about our style predictions for Kim’s wedding day, and discover the details of the fierce leopard jumpsuit she wore on her shopping trip!

Even though Kim hasn’t officially announced her wedding date, her trip to Vera Wang with big sis Kourtney tells us that it can’t be too far away. And knowing the romantic, frothy styles that strut down Vera’s bridal runway each season, we have a feeling we know what silhouette Kim might choose. We imagine she’ll wear a super romantic, princess-like ballgown with plenty of tulle and sparkling crystal accents. And since Kourtney accompanied her, we’re picturing the Kardashian sisters as Wang-clad bridesmaids, in equally frilly frocks. Let the countdown begin!

As for Kim’s seriously sexy animal print jumpsuit, we think she nailed her shopping day look. Her 1970s-style one-piece isn’t for everyone, but she totally worked the silhouette, completing her bold ensemble with equally retro cork platforms. If you’re into animal print this season, and are interested in incorporating it into your existing wardrobe, start with a tiny element like a scarf or handbag to ease your way into this Kim-approved trend.
