Since Kim Kardashian and her beau of less than a year, NBA star Kris Humphries, got engaged last spring, it seems like she’s been on the fast track to a more svelte figure. Despite the fact that Kim has one of Hollywood’s most enviable bodies, and has always been proud of her feminine curves, it looks like she’s fallen victim to the wildly popular pre-wedding crash diet.
Insiders have reported that she’s totally overhauled her exercise routine, and that her diet has become more restricted than ever. We thought Kim looked amazing before, and we certainly don’t think she needs to shed any weight. Regardless, we’ve noticed that she’s slimmed down recently, and we caught her looking slimmer than we’ve seen her in months at the recent Noon by Noor clothing line launch, held at the glamorous Sunset Towers in Hollywood on Wednesday, July 20th. The bride-to-be stepped onto the purple carpet wearing a strapless little black dress, and flaunted her tiny waist. As conflicted as we feel about Kim’s rumored weight loss, we love the way she accessorized her LBD with summer-appropriate pops of color. Kim complimented her strapless, scalloped silhouette with a pair of drool-worthy black strappy sandals. We adore the simple, thin ankle strap, and think a similar shoe would be a great way to show off your own tanned and toned gams. Kim also opted for an amazing nude envelope clutch, which added another element of color without competing with her adorable frock.
Although we loved her shoes and handbag, we’re completely obsessed with her blue stone necklace and bright red matching manicure and pedicure shade. The bright orange-laced lacquer is a perfect pick for hot summer nights, and her marine-inspired necklace really added the perfect finishing touch to an otherwise simple ensemble.
