Kristin Davis arrived on the red carpet for the highly anticipated premiere of Born to be Wild 3-D in Los Angeles on Saturday, April 2nd, in a “wild” Prada print! And we could just smooch her adorable lipstick print frock! Since wrapping Sex and the City 2 and finishing up a whirlwind promotional tour, Kristin has done a few movies, but has largely devoted her newfound free time to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.
The foundation supports the preservation of endangered wildlife – including African elephants and orangutans – and Kristin has been an outspoken advocate and spokesperson. Given her unbridled love for nature, we weren’t surprised to see her at the Born to be Wild 3-D premiere, since the documentary film features orphaned baby animals, and highlights the people and organizations that save them. We can’t wait to check out the film in our nearest IMAX theatre this spring, but before we do, we need to gush over Kristin’s adorable Prada party dress – which is pretty wild itself!
In typical Kristin Davis (and Charlotte York) fashion, this Prada design is cut to flatter every feminine curve. Kristin has a tiny waist, and has always dressed to highlight her best features. We love the cinching at the waistline – and the flattering A-line skirt, and encourage ladies of all shapes and sizes to try a similar silhouette. Kristin is always ladylike and demure, so we’re never surprised to see her wear sleeves on the red carpet. This time, she opted for voluminous t-shirt length sleeves, which are perfect for the LA spring weather, and her bubbly personality.
Because the shape is so classic, Kristin can get away with a wild print, and we think the combination is working together perfectly in this look. Tiny red lips speckle the entire frock, and Kristin accessorized with a simple pair of nude sandals to complete her ensemble. We love the lips, but if they’re not your style, try red polka dots or flowers this season for a similar look.
