She is a living example of beauty and brains. Laura Bailey has combined both assets to ride onwards to fame and success. Now the British model has scored a new job as the cultural ambassador for the British Fashion Council.

It comes to no surprise that Bailey was chosen to hold such a prestigious job in the British fashion world, as the model also happens to hold a first-class honors degree in English, which she received from the University of Southampton. This, in addition to her wit, beauty and talent are qualities that make her well suited to represent the British Fashion Council.

Bailey has previously represented Marks & Spencer and Jaeger in their respective campaigns. She is well-regarded for her spick and span yet unique sense of style. For her recent appointment to represent the British Fashion Council, she is actively supporting the organization’s move to work in partnership with the film and art world.

Her responsibilities include upholding British fashion design flair in the international setting by attending key events organized by the BFC, including the London Fashion Week and the British Fashion Awards.

Laura believes that now is an exciting time for British fashion and according to reports, she was very thrilled and proud of her new job. Her fashion-related tasks includes meeting with designers in their studios to study first-hand the many current problems faced by promising brands. Working closely and developing a strong relationship with designers won’t be difficult for her as it is already part of her current work as a model.
