The 1960s fashion is an interesting era of style trendsetting. It was a decade that reflects social movement resulting to the sudden abandonment of traditional styling techniques. Since it is the foundation of the fashion theme of Pan Am, the people behind the ABC airline drama made adjustments to capture the 1960s fashion scene, including the stars assigned for the role to play flight stewardess.
Earlier this month, we have spotted Christina Ricci’s retro look on the set of the newly-aired period drama, Pan Am. She was able to interpret the 1960s fashion with flair and dazzled in her knee-length frock and sky-high heeled shoes. But Margot Robbie has inspired fashionistas who love pink hues by getting a stylish powder pink makeover earlier this morning in Manhattan.
The 21-year-old actress’s stunning transformation—from a lovely modern girl to a radiant 1960s lady—complements with the retro theme of the television show. As she headed to the set, the pretty starlet donned a pair of skinny blue jeans teamed with chic brown boots and a striped black and white sweater. Upon reaching her destination, she swiftly changed her outfit into a modest, knee-length pink frock paired with trendy brown boots. With the vintage-looking dress and pin curls she has sported on set, she easily transformed from a typical metro chic into an exquisitely beautiful air hostess.
The Australian star’s show has recently received mixed reviews. While other critics have praised its style, some journalists don’t like its content. According to Philadelphia Inquirer: “Pan Am, ABC’s new airline drama, is worth watching if only to see stylish stewardesses clad in regulation cool blue uniforms, embroidered bags, and wrist-length white gloves.” On the other hand, The Evening Herald stated, “Pan Am is all style and no substance: a glossy game of dressing-up peopled by cardboard characters.”

Please let me know what color lipstick Margot Robbie wears in Pan Am. I simply love the color.
Thanks,
Mindy
