Mary J. Blige X Catherine Malandrino Charity Fashion Show
Remember Mary J. Blige’s collaboration with premium label Gucci which released a watch for her foundation: FFAWN last year? The songstress is doing more good deeds and now she’s collaborating with fashion designer, Catherine Malandrino. They released stylish t-shirts last winter for FFAWN (Foundation For the Achievement of Women Now) and now the duo stepped it up onto the next level: they’re doing a charity fashion show!
Malandrino said to WWD that it’s about women and helping women, so the show isn’t limited for the fashion circle. However, since the ticket will help cover college tuition for 30 graduates of the Women’s Academy of Excellence, you can expect it to be rather steep. Secure yourself a seat for the June 15th event for $1000 per-seat, and get the ultimate chance to see what Blige and Malandrino have to offer since their collabo t-shirts were sold out at Bloomingdale’s. The event will be held at the New York Museum Of Modern Art.
