You don’t have to be a devoted fan of ABC’s smash hit comedy, “Modern Family” to know just how gorgeous star Sofia Vergara is. Even if you’ve never seen her breakout role as hilarious (and sometimes clueless) Gloria Pritchett on the series, you’ve certainly seen her grace magazine covers and red carpets, nary a hair or stitch out of place. Sofia Vergara has quickly become one of our favorite fashionable stars, both on the red carpet and on set. This is one curvy girl who knows exactly how to dress her body type. She’s completely confident and unafraid to showcase her best assets in skin-hugging dresses and form-fitting skirts. She’s the perfect style role model for everyday women who aren’t the designer size-zero shape, which is why she’s a perfect fit for a Kmart fashion collaboration.
News broke earlier this month about a partnership between the mass bargain retailer and the Mod Fam star, and we were able to get a glimpse at some preview photos this week. At first, we have to admit we were a bit wary about the line, since the Big K has fallen dreadfully behind fashion giant Target in recent seasons. But after we saw the photos, we cannot wait to get our well-manicured hands on some of these pieces! Read on for a few sneak peek photos – and sound off below with your thoughts on the collection!

The greatest thing about the Vergara Collection for Kmart is, quite obviously, the affordable price point. Absolutely nothing in the entire line costs more than $59.99 – and that includes leather-style jackets, dresses – and even shoes! In the few photos released, we have to take a moment to drool over two items in particular. The v-neck, jersey-material, three-quarter sleeve dress Ms. V is modeling features rouching throughout the design – which we know will be universally flattering. We also can’t wait to check out the two different leather-look jackets from the photos! They will be the perfect cover-up come Fall 2011, when this line is slated to hit Kmart shelves.
What do you think of these looks? Do you love the clothes as much as we do? Or are you just as excited that your favorite sitcom star now has her own label? Sound off below!
