SJP Pucci Sarah Jessica Parker: The Museum Tour Guide

Amazing things will happen when you’re a true A-lister, in red carpets, as well as on top of every movie director’s minds.  Sarah Jessica Parker who’s best known for her role in the renowned TV series “Sex and The City” has become heavily associated with New York and fashion thanks to her character, Carrie Bradshaw, and  is now busy promoting her new movie, Sex And The City 2.  She lent her voice to the world-famous New York Metropolitan Museum of Art to be recorded as the audio guide for their Costume Institute’s annual fashion exhibit.

Andrew Bolton, the institute’s curator, stated:

“Because of Sex and the City, she is so much associated with New York and with America, and with using fashion as a way to shape identity.”

The 2010 theme of the exhibit is “American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity”, and will explore perceptions of the American woman from the 1890s to the 1940s. Check www.MetMuseum.org for more dish on SJP’s new gig. By the way, do you like the dress worn by Sarah Jessica Parker in the newest promotional poster of Sex and The City 2?
