Strike a Pose, Do Some Good, Shoot For Haiti
If you’re a regular visitor to CelebrityClothingLine.com, you must have a teeny tiny bit of aspiration to be photographed professionally so you can be a glam goddess captured on camera once in a while. Well, if you reside in Philadelphia -or willing to travel, this is your chance to get glammed up by professional make-up artists and photographed by professional photographers while at the same time donating for the earthquake victims of Haiti.
The event is called Shoot For Haiti, and will be held on February 6th, 2010 between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. at 1241 Carpenter St., Philadelphia, PA 19147.
During the Shoot for Haiti benefit, you can be photographed in a very low cost of $50 per session. Each session will include either a family/group portrait, or one outfit personal shoot. You won’t have to worry about make up services, as it is also offered and included in the $50 session. On regular days, this kind of package is usually valued at over $300. Yes, it’s a bargain and yes, you’re doing something good to yourself, your family and the people of Haiti.
Shoot For Haiti is held by a local non-profit organization, Shoot For A Cause, which was formed by a group of Philadelphia photographers and make up artists to raise relief funds for both national and international issues resulting in suffering or hardships. The concept of the organization is to provide photography or makeup services at a very low set rate, or accept donations, of which the funds are then given to the American Red Cross or other well established, non-profit organizations involved in providing support to those in need.
All 100% proceeds from this event will be donated via American Red Cross to help the people of Haiti. Among the growing list of sponsors are Glamourville, Paragon Creative Group, Jasen Hudson Photography, Robin Lynette Professional Makeup Artist, Blu Lotus Public Relations and EMG STUDIOS.
