Stylish Anne Hathaway sizzles the Ugly Betty way
It is rare to spot Anne Hathaway clad in an ugly outfit or a bland accessory. Dubbed as one of the breakthrough stars of 2001, she learned the basics of fashion and recently evolved with it as an important actress. In the same year that she appeared in David Frankel’s comedy The Devil Wears Prada, in which she starred as an assistant to a dominant fashion magazine editor, she first appeared on the list of People Magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People in 2006. Now that her career is getting bigger, she continues to wear dramatic ensembles that complement her inimitable personality.
Earlier today, the American actress looked eye-catching in a geeky outfit as she stepped out in New York City. The fashion chameleon flaunted her pensive look on the streets of New York’s Soho district wearing a long black and white coat. She teamed the peculiar style with slim-fitting pants and a pair of black boots. Sporting an unfussy makeup accented with long tresses cascading her shoulders, the lovely actress accessorized her ensemble with a huge grey-colored shoulder bag.
But the most interesting highlight on Anne’s ensemble is her way of upping the glamour by wearing a pair of thick eyeglasses, reminiscent of Ugly Betty style. Although the flexible actress is always spotted in ultra glamorous clothing, she has detoured on the fashion compass by flaunting her dress-down mode. That said, she is an expert in versatile styling when she is not on the red carpet.
The 28-year-old actress continues to shine in the entertainment industry. She is slated to star in the hit television series, Glee. She will play as Kurt’s aunt this season. The news that she will portray the role of a Catwoman in the next Batman installment, The Dark Knight Rises, recently thrilled her doting fans.
