The “One-Shouldered” 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards
Still wondering what’s hot for 2010? No need to ask a lot of questions. Let us take you back to the rainy red carpet of The 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton on January 17th, 2010, where the looming trend is very clear: one-shoulder gowns are hotter than the Sahara desert. Here are the hottest one-shoulder gown wearers we LOVE from the Golden Globes!

Probably the best one-shoulder look of the night, Drew Barrymore and her sizzling nude dress by Atelier Versace.
Marion Cotillard and her deep sea green satin Dior number. Lovely and elegant.

Anna Kendrick looks like a statuette in her white Marchesa and Cartier jewelry.
Amy Poehler’s Jay Godfrey striking red one-shoulder dress proves to be a great match for Will Arnett’s Calvin Klein tuxedo.

Alfre Woodard dazzled the paparazzi squad with her flowing purple Pamella Roland dress.
Still in the purple haze, 30 Rock’s Jane Krakowski also appeared quite the contrary of her loopy alter-ego, Jenna Maroney, in this J. Mendel one-shoulder dress. Loves it.

Avatar star, Sigourney Weaver, maybe thought she had enough blue in Pandora, so she donned a beautifully simple Herve L. Leroux one shoulder dress for the Golden Globes.

While we don’t really like her tousled messy hair -oh yeah, she should really fire her hairdresser-, we LOVE Jennifer Aniston’s Valentino one-shoulder, high-slit dress.

Her beautiful red dress was soaked on the wet red carpet, but Maria Menounos still managed to steal the show, although we had to wonder… where are her breasts? Maybe it’s not the perfect fit, but we love the dress nonetheless.
Beautiful Kate Winslet in the Atelier Yves Saint Laurent one-shoulder black dress, dashing as always.
And aside of all the fabulosity oozing from the one-shoulder trend, there are some ladies who donned some eyesores too. Here are our ‘Not So Great-Dressed’ award. The lineup begins with…

Don’t get us wrong, we love our baby girl Zoe Saldana. But it looks like she needs help from that tree in Pandora in the fashion department. Louis Vuitton ruffled dress, you tanked. Next.

Oh Halle Berry, you might killed it with that legendary Ellie Saab dress from the Oscars a long time ago, but this time, that KaufmanFranco number just didn’t bring back the glory. Sorry, baby.

Note to Mariah Carey: great Herve Leger dress, but way too much boobs.

Okay, Cher plus Christina Aguilera equals Halloween too early or too late. Next.

Patricia Arquette just had too much going on. We’re not too crazy either with Thomas Jane’s brown shoes.

If actress Sally Hawkins was going for the 20’s look on this confusing little black dress, she might have missed the time machine. The girl is probably really talented, but she needs to find new designers to dress her up.

Again, a hard thing to do: criticizing people we actually admire. While we’re crazy about Tina Fey, we absolutely hate her Zac Posen dress. And we think she should check whether Zac Posen hates her that much to turned her into this mix between Sarah Palin and Mary Poppins. So sad

We have this strange love/hate relationship with the Olsen Twins when it comes to fashion. While we usually love the stuff they design, we might hate the stuff they wear more than once. Ashley Olsen might not be in the red carpet of the Golden Globes, but this blue thing she wore to the after party is just… well, let’s just say… not to our liking so much.
Oh well, that’s our thoughts. What do you think? Spill!
