Larry David and Evan Rachel Wood start an 8th season on Curb your Enthusiasm
We admit we’re total suckers for Curb Your Enthusiasm on HBO. We think it’s so mindless, it’s funny – and we can’t help but relate to the hilariously dysfunctional relationships featured. Moreover, since Seinfeld met its fateful end in 1998, Enthusiasm has helped to quell the pain of comedy loss on the small screen.
As much as we love watching the show, we never imagined it might also be a great source of fashion inspiration. After all, we really can’t imagine grumpy Larry David getting excited about fall’s amazing suede boots and leather jackets. But notoriously tightlipped star Evan Rachel Wood changed our minds when we saw her arrive on the white carpet, for the premiere of Curb Your Enthusiasm’s eighth season in New York City on Wednesday, July 6th. The fierce fashionista recently lobbed off her long locks in favor of a seriously bold short and spiky ‘do, and we think she worked her new look to perfection. She even completed her rocker chick ensemble with an amazing leather jacket and star-speckled pants by Dolce & Gabbana, and an 1980s-inspired neon pink lip color. Even if you don’t think you have the fashion gusto to don such a daring ensemble, keep reading to discover which small style tricks anyone can wear.
The thing we love most about Evan Rachel’s ensemble is that, despite your age, style or budget, you can find a graphic tee that works for you. She chose a heather gray version featuring Dennis Hopper, but any statement tee would create a similar look. Not into displaying an iconic Hollywood actor on your shirt? Opt for a fitted tee in your favorite color with a label or saying that makes sense in your wardrobe.
