Best known for her portrayal of the character Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical films, Vanessa Hudgens has been looking effortlessly chic these days. By wearing an ensemble far removed from her the tender tween style from her High School Musical days, she is stirring the fashion world and showing us how much she’s grown, having turned 22 last December.
The star of the critically acclaimed Bandslame stepped out yesterday from her Los Angeles home dressed in a more mature fashion. Wearing a short pristine sweater dress teamed with a pair of brown suede thigh high boots, it was quite the fashionable get up. One noteworthy accessory was the set of gold bangles she stacked on, in addition to short and long necklaces and a pair of brown sunglasses.
It was well suited for a day out with her friends, and readers should take a cue from Vanessa in learning how to accentuate a fresh everyday look with light make up and accessories. The former girlfriend of High School Musical co-star Zac Efron also sported a short hair cut that has been slashed into perfection. The new do is for her role in the drama Gimme Shelter, where she will portray a homeless teen opposite co-stars Brendan Fraser and Rosario Dawson. The haircut was first seen in Trenton, New Jersey last June where the movie was filmed.
However, the famous star expressed qualms about her new hairstyle. “Honestly, I kind of feel like a soccer mom, but we’re going to let that go,” she told Access Hollywood. “There’s nothing wrong with soccer moms, but I’m only 22! I miss my hair, believe me, I do, but there’s nothing I can do about it,” she added.
