Zoe Saldana looks stunning in a pink leather dress
Our fondness for Zoe Saldana never ceases. After the recent Teen Choice Awards, where she wore in a Lanvin Resort strapless dress and a fetching appearance on the cover of the most recent issue of Latina Magazine, Saldana made for a similarly striking presence at the premiere of her latest film, Colombiana. The latest project of Red Siren direct Olivier Megaton, Colombiana features the bronze beauty as an orphan turned assassin from Bogota.
At the premiere, the 33-year old actress flaunted her frame in a stunning pink leather frock. The dress’ simple cut and muted salmon hue accentuated her feminine elegance while adding a nice contrast to her rich dark tresses. She looked absolutely glowing yet relaxed and her simple hair and makeup only added to that allure. As for accessories, Zoe chose to pair her dress with an impressive range of colors. Cream leather heels, gorgeous silver earring and a white clutch with silver sequins – definitely a step up from the rope belt she wore last time.
The fabulous style is a far cry from the style of her character in Colombiana. The Star Trek performer plays a gritty assassin and erstwhile vigilante who witnessed the gruesome murder of her parents. The traumatized young girl becomes a heartless murderer who swears vengeance. As expected, the role was very physically demanding, and it also required her to wear some less than glamorous outfits. Still, that’s no problem for her, as it’s just another welcome challenge in the career of Zoe Saldana.
