Natalie Portman launched her vegan footwear line at the Te Cesan boutique in New York city on Tuesday February 12. The shoes are only available at the Te Cesan boutique and their website, tecesan.com. All of Portman’s proceeds will go to the Nature Conservancy, a non-profit organization.

The shoes are priced in the 200s and the website states that there are only “up to 100 pairs per size” so the are expected to sell out quickly. Here are some of the shoes that were on display at the Te Cesan boutique:

I’m not really feeling the pumps, they look like grandma shoes to me, but I guess that is what floats some people’s boats. The flats are okay… just a little boring. There are some more flashy designs on the website, but nothing that really stands out. Mostly very basic and simple designs, not really sure if they’re worth the 200 plus price. Natalie Portman was photographed wearing the red pumps from the line to the event:

Would you pay over $200 for these shoes?

I think her shoes are cute, but hardly $200-300 dollars “cute”. I really like http://www.vegetarianshoesandbags.com/. They have trendy and affordable shoes there.
over 200$ only if she comes in them
