Courteney Cox Gets The Spotlight

Courteney Cox is the new Avon lady.  Well, not exactly your typical Avon lady, the ex ‘Friends’ star is partnering up with Avon to release her own women’s fragrance, ‘Spotlight’. Courteney is not the first celebrity to be tapped by Avon, she followed the steps of Derek Jeter, Jennifer Hudson and Patrick Dempsey.  Courteney is excited about this deal, “I’m happy to be a part of a company I’ve known my whole life.  Once I sat with them and learned more, they really blew me away with all the issues they support and the wonderful earnings opportunities they give women.”  Courteney also stated that she’s the loyal type when it comes to fragrances, “Since I’m the kind of person that’s very loyal to a fragrance, having worn the same fragrance for 10 years, it’s nice to have a new one that I’m so proud of.”

Spotlight is made by Jean-Marc Chaillan of International Flavors & Fragrances, and consisting of shining silver, mandarin and Italian bergamot as top notes, white freesia, tuberose absolute and mimosa as middle notes, cashmere sandalwood, vetiver and white vanilla musk as bottom notes.  It will retail for $22.50 for 1.7 oz.

They’re available for selected sales representatives as they will get “Preferred Preview” where they can place early orders for Spotlight.  However, the fragrance will be featured on the front cover of the Avon brochure starting in April and will include a two-page spread and scented page.
