With their hot new book, Kardashian Konfidential, one of the most popular holiday gifts this year, and their glam family Christmas card photo making waves for its gothic-meets-Stepford vibe, it’s safe to say the Kardashian sisters have enjoyed a very merry season. To celebrate all the success the family has shared in 2010, they threw a giant bash for family and friends in the same ballroom where their Dynasty-esque 2010 photo was snapped by photographer Nick Saglimbeni. The Royal family of E! all sparkled at their annual holiday bash, but of course those fab sisters looked more festive than ever. So we’re all dying to know: what did they wear?
Starlet Kim chose a glitter encrusted Tadashi Shoji floor-length gown. The one-shoulder sparkle bomb appears to be a combination of silvery blue and coppery gold, cementing the two-tone metallic trend in place for spring. Kim’s hair was a perfect compliment to the look, styled in its signature flowing mane – and she kept accessories minimal to let the dress shine. If you love the metallic look, it’s easy to emulate for warmer months. Mixing metallics can be totally chic – as demonstrated by Kim K – as long as you keep your entire look cohesive. Mix gold, silver and bronze bangles for your next soire– or even pair a silver clutch with gold shoes. You’ll be amazed how glamorous the contrast can be!
Sisters Khloe and Kourtney also chose metallic frocks for the big family Christmas party – and both were so different, they didn’t outsparkle each other. Big sis Kourtney chose a short bronze cocktail dress and made it winter appropriate with opaque black tights and spot on-trend leopard pumps. Blushing NBA bride Khloe arrived in a strapless, Grecian-inspired, metallic white gown. Of course, all three sisters complimented each other perfectly at their family bash – and photographers and guests couldn’t get enough. Even Santa himself was snapped with the beautiful Kim. Now we’re left wondering: was she naughty or nice this year?
