Pastry by Vanessa and Angela Simmons of “Run’s House” about to get big boost
Run’s House new season debuts July 16 on MTV. The reality show features the family of Joseph “Rev Run” Simmons, founding member of Run DMC. Last year on season 4, Rev Run’s daughters Angela and Vanessa Simmons launched their own shoe line called Pastry by Run Athletics. The collection proceeded to blow up in the urban streetwear category, grossing $15 million in its debut year.
Looks like the whole Simmons family has been busy, with son JoJo working on a hiphop album and newly adopted baby Miley. In the upcoming season 5, the Simmons sisters will be grinding their expanded line of Pastry handbags and clothing as well as more shoe styles. Pastry has also started running TV commercials on BET. There’s rumors of a Pastry store in the works, as well as expanding the line even further to jewelry and high-end clothing (like Beyonce’s House of Dereon or Kimora Lee Simmons KLS line). These girls are all about the paper!

I like the show it was quite refreshing when it first came out, but now everything seems to be about marketing, they’re all trying to sell us stuff

I SO LOVE THE SIMMONS FAMILY!♥♥♥ I hope you all stay successful and exceed everybody else’s expectations of you 2. You 2 are a very good inspiration to young girls like me, and I appreciate it SOOOO much. I love their shoes! Yummy!

I love Pastry . I have the Fab cookie boot white chocolate chip, the toot bag , jeans, shirt . When are you going to make the accsessorise/ jewlery ?
