BET’s fourth annual fashion-show-meets-concert event, Rip the Runway, was hosted this year by Sean John spokes model Lauren London and Apple bottoms creator Nelly.

The event was held at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. The show aired Tuesday night at 10 pm. Diddy, who was also the executive producer of the show, opened it up with a speech about black fashion.

Celebrity clothing lines featured were Apple Bottoms, Sean John, Missy Elliott’s Respect M.E. line with Adidas, Snoop Dogg’s Rich n Infamous, and his wife’s line CoCo Ri.
There were performances by NERD, Snoop Dogg, Trey Songz, Cheri Dennis, Flo Rida, Webbie, and Missy Elliott.

I thought the show was great. The models were allowed to let loose much more than in a traditional fashion show and the performances were good too. If you missed it, BET will be airing the show again this Friday at 10 pm. What did you think of the show?
