Halle Berry the latest star to endorse her own fragrance. With the kind of star power Halle holds I’m surprise it has taken this long for someone to step up and offer her a deal. Maybe being the diva she is decided to make it an all out bidding war, because reports say she was likely offered $3-$5 million upfront and a 5% royalty for future sales of the fragrance.
Coty said the following:
“Halle is an iconic actress and symbolizes beauty to many generations,” said Steve Mormoris, senior vice president of global marketing at Coty Beauty US. “She adds another dimension to the celebrity fragrance market. Halle has always been a little more mysterious, not quite as open with her personal life as some other stars. Her fragrances will allow her to present another facet of her personality to her fans.”
The fragrance will be available nationwide by Spring 2009.
